- Jelly Bean's Family
- "Jelly Bean" is our affectionate nickname for our son, Liam. He was born on August 9, 2007. He has three older siblings and two parents who welcomed him with open arms and loving hearts. He was given his nickname by our OB at our 8 week ultrasound, and the name just stuck. Initially diagnosed in utero with a severe congenital heart defect known as HLHS, we were happy to learn he had less serious heart problems upon his arrival. He has had one heart surgery and we are monitoring his heart to determine if he will need more surgeries in the future.

He's beautiful Lisa! Our Sarah had open heart surgery when she was little. She is healthy now and you would never know how rocky was her start in life. I'm praying for you all. ~Gwen Jones~

He is beautiful! Thanks for posting the pictures. You look great even though I know you have to be very tired and I am sure Bill has his share of being tired also. We are still praying and knowing God is in control. How is Sarah doing being the big sister? Hope to be seeing you very soon along with your two beautiful children.
